Dr. Helen Kim performs Complex Abdominal Hernia Repairs, including recurrent hernias and hernias with mesh complications with optional combined Abdominoplasty when indicated. She considers use of Biological Matrix as an alternative to synthetic mesh. Other procedures she performs in the hospital setting: Gastric surgery, Small intestine surgery, Colon surgery- open and robotic. Outpatient surgeries: Laparoscopic hernia surgery, Laparoscopic gallbladder surgery, Soft tissue mass removal. Office-based: Minor procedures, eg lump removal and biopsies. Second opinion consultations.
